It all started with a Minox replica of the Leica M3 that my grandpa gave me when I was 8 . Through that tiny object that still seems so precious to me, I discovered that I could create something that, for a fraction of time, would make people forget the reality of their lives.
I am drawn to how materiality can evoke the land of dreams the way zoetropes do. This leads me to work with analog processes along with archival images, as my projects revolve around creating narratives, but mainly creating a bubble that defies time and space. A zone in which people can exist.
